A world authority on combustion and acoustics, Dame Ann Dowling wears many hats.
Dame Ann is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, President of the Royal Academy of Engineering and most recently, joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director of Smiths.
With her passion for the field clear from the outset, she highlights the qualities she feels are at the core of a successful engineer in our recent video interview for International Women in Engineering Day 2019.
