Pioneers of progress - move to new office location with zero fossil-fuel usage supports Smiths Group’s ESG commitments
LONDON 19 April, 2023: Smiths Group plc (‘Smiths Group’), the industrial technology business improving our world through smarter engineering, announces that it is relocating its global headquarters at the end of 2023. Smiths Group is moving to a new London HQ at Arbor, a newly completed building on the Bankside Yards estate in Southwark, London.
The new location supports Smiths Group’s ambitious plans as the company continues to capitalise on its three strategic priorities of accelerating growth, strengthening execution, and empowering its people. The flexible and smart workspace will enable enhanced collaboration and teamwork, supporting its reinvigorated culture with high-quality technology.
The choice to move to a building with strong environmental credentials reflects the Group’s own net zero ambitions and sustainability priorities. Smiths Group has committed to delivering Net Zero emissions from scope 1 and 2 operations by 2040, and Net Zero Scope 3 supply chain and product emissions by 2050.
