Smiths Group confirms that Richard Ingram, President of Smiths Detection, has resigned from his position, effective end February 2018, to take up the role of CEO at Diploma PLC.
Andrew Reynolds Smith, Chief Executive of Smiths Group, commented:
“Richard leaves us after three and a half years with Smiths. Smiths Detection has made good progress over this time and has been significantly enhanced by the acquisition of Morpho Detection in 2017. Detection goes forward, well positioned for the future with a strong business, product portfolio and management team.
I’d like to thank Richard for his contribution to Smiths and wish him well in his new role.”
