Apprentices are part of the DNA of Smiths. Many of our senior leaders started out on this path, including our Chief Executive, Andy Reynolds Smith. This week we celebrated National Apprenticeship Week in the United Kingdom, recognising the success of apprenticeships at Smiths.

We spoke to some current and existing apprentices about their experience:

“Early career talent is vital to our success”, says Lois Wilson, Early Career Talent Manager at Smiths Group. “Our industry is changing incredibly fast so we’re always keen to welcome talented apprentices with innovation and creativity to Smiths. In return, our apprentices work with world-class professionals who are truly passionate about coaching and developing – leading to really exciting and successful careers.”

We offer a number of exciting apprenticeship programmes, allowing you to work towards your qualifications while gaining hands-on experience in a diverse, global business. For more information, visit our Early Careers webpage.
