Smiths Group plc today announces that Sarah Cameron will step down as Company Secretary with effect from 1 October in order to take up a new role as Director of Governance and Compliance for Peabody, the London-based housing association and charity.

An announcement regarding her successor will be made in due course.

Chief Executive Philip Bowman said: “I thank Sarah for all her efforts and wish her well. Sarah joined Smiths 20 years ago and has been an outstanding colleague, making a major contribution to the Group particularly over the past six years as Company Secretary. The Board and I will miss her but wish her well with the next phase of her career.”
