Don Naab has been appointed President of Smiths Interconnect, the connectors, microwave and protection group of companies headquartered in Morton Grove, IL, USA, with companies globally. Naab succeeds Paul Cox who became Group Managing Director, Smiths Specialty Engineering in August 2006. He reports to Paul Cox, Group Managing Director, Specialty Engineering, Smiths Group plc.

Naab was previously CEO of Sanders Industries, a privately held company focusing on two manufacturing segments: elastomer and metal shaping serving the medical, aerospace, industrial and defense markets. Prior to joining Sanders, Naab was the President of Lambda-Invensys, and led this power solutions provider serving the telecom, datacom, ATE, industrial and medical markets.

A US citizen, Naab holds an MBA gained at the University of Notre Dame. He is married to Eileen and they have two grown children.
