Job Description

Job Opportunity

  • Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a global finance team within a fast-paced, multinational environment.
  • 12-month Fixed Term Contract offering exposure to shared services operations and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Key role in supporting financial integrity, cash flow management, and timely financial reporting.

What you will be doing

  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and resolve discrepancies
  • Follow up on overdue balances via phone, email, and formal communication
  • Accurately apply incoming payments and maintain invoice tracking records
  • Prepare customer statements, reconcile accounts, and maintain ageing reports
  • Update monthly cash flow forecasts and escalate risks where required
  • Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Operations teams on billing issues
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and internal controls
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and upload transactions into SAP
  • Prepare financial reports and support journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations (AU & NZ entities)
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Provide audit support and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Accounts Receivable processes

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of AR processes (billing, collections, reconciliation)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of GST compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a Shared Services or multinational environment
  • Strong SAP transaction processing and reporting exposure
  • Experience supporting multi-entity or cross-country finance operations
  • Proven track record in process improvement initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
