The new CADD®-Solis wireless infusion pump safely delivers pain medication to patients in hospital while allowing the patient to be mobile and critical data to be reliably transferred on a daily basis.
The data is used to provide Continuous Quality Improvement reports of clinical practices and drug protocols which can improve outcomes and reduce the length of hospital stays. It also enables communication with third party Electronic Medical Records, Asset Management Systems, Alarm Management and Location Tracking Systems.
Furthermore it allows wireless updates of software or drug library simultaneously to all pumps across the hospital without having to find, collect, plug in and update each individual pump.
This wireless smart pump is part of 20+ new product introductions set to be released in 2018. Smiths Medical introduced the CADD®-Solis Ambulatory Infusion Pump at the American Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Management Medicine 2018 Annual Meeting.
